The Elk Lake Sportsman's Club sponsored a Luau at the Beach in July 2009. The weather was perfect -- food, drink, limbo, hoola hoop and a DJ -- and fun for all! Proceeds from a raffle and other games provided $500 for new sand at the beach. |

Members of Elk Lake Shores can join in community fun or enjoy their solitude in the beauty of nature. |

A group of volunteer members at Elk Lake have formed a Landscape and Beautification Committee, which will oversee the implementation of a Landscape Master Plan to beautify the most visible common areas around Elk Lake. A landscaper was hired to develop the plan, which will be implemented over several years as funds become available, and these are his drawings. More information is available on the Landscape page. |
