Royal Red Snappers of Elk Lake

Ladies (and women) over 50 years of age are invited to join the Elk Lake chapter of the Red Hat Society, the Royal Red Snappers of Elk Lake, on the second Tuesday of the month.  To attend club activities, you must dress in bright red and purple; your outlandish Red Hat makes the outfit complete.  Remember that you cannot over accessorize, this is the time to break-out your red feather boa! 

We meet at the gatehouse at 10:30 a.m.  Members take turns picking the destination of the month and we tour the area to look at places we think might be interesting.  We have visited the Purple Bridge in Indiana, cruised the Ohio River on a paddle wheeler, toured the State capitol with a representative, ate lunch at Shaker Village, had car trouble in Rabbit Hash and sipped wine/bourbon across the commonwealth.  Led by our lovely Queen Mother, Hilda Mays and Starla (Queen of Vice) we have had a great experience on our once-a-month outing.
